POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of EMEA Strategic Partnerships reports to the Chief Resilience Officer at FS-ISAC headquarters in the United States. The Director builds and maintains relationships with government organizations, regulators, and financial institution members for the purpose of fostering collaboration on common goals (e.g., reconnection, AI, cloud, PQC, etc.). The Director must be able to discern the differences in goals and incentives not only within different organizations, but also within similar organizations in different countries. This allows the Director to identify those who can benefit from the other components of the resilience program, highlighting how the approach can be tailored to the specific organizations or countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Build a community of resilience professionals across the public and private sectors.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with other sectors, such as communications and electricity.
  • Develop resilience-related relationships with the public and private sectors and other sectors across jurisdictions.
  • Lead sector efforts to coordinate public and private incident preparedness and response, representing FS-ISAC on cross-border or country resilience or financial sector response groups.
  • Lead sector incident responses were developed and established sector incident response protocols where needed.
  • Identify key sector resilience issues and develop collaborative efforts with the public and/or private sector to address them.
  • Engage key public and private organizations, as well as other sectors, to advance FS-ISAC sector exercises, playbook development, and its operational risk and resilience mission.
  • Prepare and give formal and informal presentations on all resilience-related topics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Written Communication – Writes clearly and persuasively in all situations; ensures writing matches the objectives and audience needs.
  • English fluency is required.
  • Other preferred languages: German, Dutch, Spanish or French.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in business, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with government partnerships.
  • Demonstrated capacity to form win-win partnerships.
  • Knowledge of financial sector regulations and financial institution regulatory processes.
  • Experience with incident response, incident preparedness, business continuity, or related activities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position can be remote or hybrid from FSISAC Den Haag, NL or UK office.
