BACKGROUND
FS-ISAC is a member-driven, 501 (c)6, not-for-profit organization that advances cybersecurity and resilience in the global financial system, protecting financial institutions and the individuals they serve. The real-time information-sharing network amplifies the intelligence, knowledge, and practices of its members for the financial sector’s collective security and defense. FS-ISAC is headquartered in the US, with primary offices in Singapore, The Hague, and the UK.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Risk and Resilience Specialist is a mid-level position responsible for leading and supporting FS-ISAC operational risk and business resilience activities, initiatives and products. The position reports to the Director, Global Business Resilience and works in tandem with the resilience team members in all regions. This position manages two member committees for the Americas that identify relevant and current risk to inform the membership and sector. Facilitation includes working with committee leadership to set agendas, invite presenters, provide after-meeting notes, and other operational duties to ensure the committees are productive and contributing to the sector efforts to identify operational risk and mediate accordingly.
The applying candidate should have a background in research and report writing, preferably with a background in operational risk. The role is responsible for researching and writing periodic risk reports updating playbooks. This position is public facing, regularly working with and occasionally presenting to members and partner or government organizations.

This position reports into Reston, Virginia headquarters on a hybrid schedule, required to be in office two days a week for “team days” and other locations in the DC area or other locations as needed for meetings.
