FS-ISAC is a member-driven, 501 (c)6, not-for-profit organization that advances cybersecurity and resilience in the global financial system, protecting financial institutions and the individuals they serve. The real-time information-sharing network amplifies the intelligence, knowledge, and practices of its members for the financial sector’s collective security and defense. FS-ISAC is headquartered in the US, with primary offices in Singapore, The Hague, and the UK.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Resilience and Exercise Specialist, EMEA, is a member of FS-ISAC Resilience team and is responsible for planning and executing resilience projects and exercises in and for the EMEA region. The position reports to the Director, Global Business Resilience, based in US, East Coast. This position leads exercise scenario development and coordinates and facilitates exercises, writes the After-Action Report with clear analysis that informs member and sector resilience. The role is responsible for leading member committees and researching and writing periodic risk reports. This position is public facing, regularly working with and occasionally presenting to members and partner or government organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead industry-wide exercise scenario development to ensure EMEA exercises and supporting materials are relevant to EMEA region. Coordinate project planning for multiple exercises.
  • Write situation manuals, exercise plans, After-Action reports, and other content required to make the EMEA exercises meaningful with actionable outcomes.
  • Promote awareness and uptake of exercises and resilience activities with members.
  • Lead EMEA member committee discussions.
  • Research and write actionable financial sector risk reports for EMEA region.
  • Conduct analysis of resilience best practices, regulations, guidance, and laws.
  • Perform other assignments as needed.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Outstanding research and report writing skills.
  • Experience planning and executing Tabletop exercises.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, personable with a member service frame of mind.
  • Strong presentation skills; writing presentation, speaking to internal and external audiences.
  • Knowledge of financial sector and/or cybersecurity.
  • Highly developed prioritization skills with flexibility to expand workload and reorganize priorities.
  • Possess business acumen sensitivity to recognize regional or country cultures and adapt activities as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office365; Salesforce experience preferred but not required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A post-secondary degree or business experience developing and managing tabletop exercises or similar with transferrable skills.
  • 2-4 years of related experience, preferably in the financial section.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position can be remote or hybrid from FSISAC Den Haag, NL or London, UK office. Hybrid is preferred.
